Interbank Electronic Payment System
Information about using SPEI to send and receive domestic electronic transfers from your Sylon account.
SPEI is Mexico’s Interbank Electronic Payment System operated by Banco de México. It enables electronic transfers in Mexican pesos between accounts held at participating financial entities.
With Sylon, you can receive and send domestic electronic transfers and fund your account through SPEI from a single place, using the information required to identify your transactions.
SPEI transfers are available on a continuous basis, subject to payment-system operation, security validations and availability of participating entities.
SPEI transactions are carried out in Mexican pesos (MXN).
Before sending a transfer, verify that the recipient details, CLABE account, amount and payment concept are correct.
To review the status of a transaction, you may use Banco de México’s Electronic Payment Receipt (CEP) with your transfer information.
